Acceptable Use Policy

Version 1.0, Effective 2026-06-26

1. About this policy

1.1 What this is. This Acceptable Use Policy (this "Policy" or the "AUP") sets out the rules for how you may and may not use the Reeplayer cameras, apps, websites, and related services (together, the "Service"). It is the detailed version of the "Acceptable use and fair use" section of the Reeplayer Terms of Service (the "Terms"), and it is part of the Terms and incorporated into them by reference. Capitalized terms we do not define here have the meaning given in the Terms.

1.2 Who it applies to, and who "you" are. This Policy applies to everyone who accesses or uses the Service, whether or not you are signed in. As in the Terms, "you" means anyone who uses the Service, including a coach, a club, a league, a parent or legal guardian, a player, a spectator, and anyone who sets up, controls, views, streams, downloads, or shares Reeplayer footage. You are responsible for everyone you allow to use your account or your cameras.

1.3 How to read it with the Terms. Read this Policy together with the Terms and the Reeplayer Privacy Policy. This Policy adds detail; it does not narrow or override the broad content license you grant in Section 5 of the Terms, the rule that advertising is never an endorsement in Section 7 of the Terms, or the rule that Reeplayer identifies players by jersey number, roster, and account rather than by face in Section 8 of the Terms. Where this Policy and the Terms conflict on what conduct is permitted, this Policy controls, as Section 1.6 of the Terms provides.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

You agree not to use the Service, and not to upload, capture, share, or distribute content, in any of the following ways.

2.1 No illegal or harmful use. Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to engage in, promote, or facilitate any illegal or harmful activity.

2.2 No harassment, threats, hate, or abuse. Do not use the Service to harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, defame, or abuse any person, or to post or share content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, or that incites or promotes violence or hatred against a person or group.

2.3 No misuse of footage against a minor. Do not use Reeplayer footage, clips, stats, or any other part of the Service to stalk, track, harm, exploit, or endanger a minor, or to identify, locate, or contact a minor in a way the minor's parent or legal guardian has not authorized, or for any predatory purpose. This is in addition to, not instead of, the recording-law, consent, and parental-responsibility duties in Section 6 of the Terms.

2.4 No sexual content involving minors. Do not use the Service to create, upload, store, request, share, or distribute child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving a minor, ever, full stop. There is no exception to this rule. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as the law requires.

2.5 No content you do not have the rights and consents for. Do not capture, upload, or share any content unless you have all the rights, permissions, consents, and releases the Terms require, including those in Section 6 of the Terms for every person who appears or is heard in the content, and including the consent of a minor's parent or legal guardian where a minor appears.

2.6 No infringement of other people's rights. Do not upload, share, or use content that infringes or violates anyone's intellectual property rights (including copyright and trademark), rights of publicity, or rights of privacy. Copyright complaints are handled under the Reeplayer DMCA and Copyright Policy and Section 11 of the Terms.

2.7 No impersonation or deception. Do not impersonate any person or organization, misrepresent who you are or your affiliation, or use the Service to deceive others, including by setting up a camera or account under false authority.

3. Technical restrictions

You agree not to do any of the following, and not to help or permit anyone else to.

3.1 No scraping or unauthorized data extraction. Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, or use bots or other automated means to collect footage, stats, or other content or data from the Service, except through a feature or interface we provide for that purpose.

3.2 No reverse engineering. Do not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, the Reeplayer cameras' software, or our AI and computer-vision models, except where applicable law permits despite this restriction. This mirrors Section 10.2 of the Terms.

3.3 No circumventing limits or protections. Do not bypass, disable, or circumvent any access control, usage limit, rate limit, security measure, or other technical protection or restriction of the Service.

3.4 No probing or overloading. Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, and do not overload, flood, or impair the Service or its infrastructure, including through a denial-of-service attack or excessive automated requests.

3.5 No malware. Do not upload, transmit, or introduce any virus, worm, malware, or other harmful or malicious code into or through the Service.

3.6 No unauthorized access. Do not access or attempt to access any account, camera, system, data, or part of the Service that you are not authorized to access, and do not use another person's account or credentials without permission.

3.7 No interfering with others. Do not interfere with, disrupt, or degrade any other user's use of the Service, or the security, integrity, or normal operation of the Service.

4. Commercial restrictions

4.1 Consumer and non-commercial use only. The Service is licensed to you for personal, consumer, and non-commercial use, as Section 9.2 of the Terms provides. Do not use it for commercial purposes except as expressly permitted by the Terms.

4.2 No resale or running it as a business. Do not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or the content on it, and do not run the Service as part of your own business or as a service to others, unless you have a separate written agreement with Reeplayer.

4.3 Advertiser and sponsor use is separate. Use of the Service by an advertiser or sponsor, including any business that buys or runs advertising or sponsorship through Reeplayer, is governed by the separate Reeplayer Advertising Terms, not by this Policy or by the consumer Terms.

5. Reasonable use and fair use

5.1 Use the Service reasonably. Use the Service in a reasonable way, consistent with normal consumer use. Do not use it in a way that is abusive or disproportionate, or that harms or degrades the Service or other users.

5.2 Where the numbers live. Specific usage figures, such as how much storage, how many hours, and what retention windows a particular plan includes, are set out on our pricing page or in your plan details, not in this Policy. Those numbers can change, and the current ones govern.

5.3 What "unlimited" means. Where we describe a plan or feature as "unlimited," that claim is subject to fair use. The fair-use limit is scoped to genuinely abusive or disproportionate use, so that "unlimited" stays true for ordinary use. We will not treat ordinary, good-faith use as a fair-use violation.

6. Reporting a violation

6.1 How to report. If you see content or conduct on the Service that you believe violates this Policy, the Terms, or the law, tell us. Email legal@reeplayer.com with a description of the issue, where on the Service you saw it (for example a link, a clip, an account, or a team), and enough detail for us to find it. For a copyright complaint, follow the Reeplayer DMCA and Copyright Policy.

6.2 Urgent safety concerns. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first, then report it to us at legal@reeplayer.com so we can act on our side. For a general support question that is not a violation report, you can reach us at support@reeplayer.com.

6.3 What we do with reports. We review reports we receive and take the action we consider appropriate under Section 7. We may not be able to update you on the outcome of a specific report, and submitting a report does not by itself obligate us to take any particular action.

7. Enforcement

7.1 What we may do. If we believe you have violated this Policy or the Terms, we may take any action we consider appropriate, including removing or disabling access to content, limiting or suspending features, suspending or terminating your account or your access to the Service, and, where warranted, reporting the matter to law enforcement. We may also keep using the Service ourselves in the ordinary way; enforcement against you does not change the license you granted in Section 5 of the Terms.

7.2 Notice and a chance to cure for ordinary abuse. For ordinary abuse or other breaches of this Policy, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to cure before we suspend or limit your use, where that is practical, consistent with Section 9.4 and Section 17 of the Terms.

7.3 Immediate action for serious reasons. For security, legal, fraud, safety, or harm reasons, including any violation of Section 2.3 or Section 2.4 of this Policy, we may suspend, limit, or remove content or access immediately and without prior notice, consistent with Section 9.4 and Section 17 of the Terms.

7.4 Consistent with the Terms. Enforcement under this Policy follows the suspension, termination, and survival rules in Section 17 of the Terms. Nothing in this Policy limits any other right or remedy available to Reeplayer under the Terms or the law.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time, as we may update the Terms under Section 19 of the Terms. When we do, we will change the version and effective date at the top, and, for a material change, we will give notice consistent with the Terms. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Policy, except where the Terms require us to obtain your affirmative acceptance.

9. How to contact us

You can reach us about this Policy, or report a violation of it, at legal@reeplayer.com. For general support that is not a violation report, contact support@reeplayer.com. You can also write to us at Reeplayer, Inc., Attn: Legal, 4213 Jackson Avenue, Culver City, California 90232, USA.
